Virginia PJune 26, 2026We initially contacted Strategic Financial Group on the recommendation of one of my husbands's former co-workers. We were in need of advice on choosing a Medicare supplement, as my husband was retiring soon. Brad was very helpful in explaining the various options, and in helping us to choose one. He asked a few questions about how satisfied we were with our current financial advisor. Frankly, we had been somewhat disappointed with our current advisor at the time, because we really didn't think we were getting adequate guidance, communication, etc., from him. We've also had a few previous financial advisors, and after they put together a plan for us we would only hear from them in a cursory way on an annual basis. Also, the plans they put together seemed rather "cookie cutter". I don't think our individual circumstances were adequately taken into account. We decided to see what SFG could offer. Brad and Gabe (and the team) put a lot of time and effort into finding out all the pertinent details of our situation, and incorporating them into a coherent plan. Their followup communication has been excellent, and they have given us some valuable tips on approaches to some tax issues as well. All in all, we're very pleased with Brad, Gabe and the whole team.
